IMPORTANT INFORMATION
- 2025 Winter Institute runs Sunday, January 5 – Thursday, January 9.
- Pre-Site Meetings (via Teams):
- Orientation: October 22 at 2:00 p.m. EST
- Connections: November 18 at 12:00 p.m. EST
- Pre-Site Information Session: December 5 at 1:00 p.m. EST –Encouraged for attendees, especially first-years and anyone new to the Tucson site.
- Touching Base: December 9 at 1:00 p.m. EST
- Tech Run Through: December 17 at 2:00 p.m. EST
- On-site office locations:
- Staff office: Madera
- Regent office: Picacho
- On-Site meetings:
- Sunday, January 5 at 11:30 a.m. (Marriott, Canyon Room) —Group photos will be taken.
- Monday, January 6 at 1:30 p.m. (Picacho)
- Tuesday, January 7 at 2:00 p.m. (Picacho)
- Wednesday, January 8 at 9: a.m. (Picacho)
- Thursday, January 9 at 10:00 a.m. (Picacho)
- Attire for the week is casual to business casual (always professional), however volunteers typically dress in business casual or business attire (for those in a leadership position) for graduation.
- Class presentations and additional resources can be accessed through the Event Hub. —Available after registration closes on December 4.
- Graduation will be held Wednesday, January 8 at 6:30 p.m. Graduates should arrive by 5:45 p.m. to take pictures. Small bites will be provided between 6:00 and 6:30 p.m. Other class photos will be held after the ceremony in the following order: Scholarship recipients, Class 3-2, Class 3-1, Class 2-2, Class 2-1, Class 1-2, Class 1-1. You are expected to organize your class to take photos. Classes will be asked to remain in their seats until they are called to take their photos. Please remind them of this and help to organize them when the class is called.

- Site Registration (December 3): Register by clicking here. Select the fourth option down for ‘volunteers and faculty’ and then follow the appropriate prompts. All volunteer sign-ups, including course audits and elective attendance, will be completed during the registration process.
- Industry Consultations (December 5): If interested in facilitating industry consultations on-site, please complete the sign-up form here.

POLICY REGARDING THE USE OF AI IN INSTITUTE MEETINGS
AI enabled assistants will not be allowed to join Institute board/volunteer meetings and other calls that are a safe space which requires presence and participation. AI enabled assistants are, however, allowed in information sessions, orientations, webinars, and other such calls, which are also recorded. Institute Staff has authority to remove AI enabled assistants when deemed appropriate. Please contact iom@uschamber.com with any questions or concerns.
