Where to Stay:

UGA Hotel and Conference Center at the Georgia Center

The newly renovated UGA Hotel, located on the beautiful, historic campus of the University of Georgia in Athens, Georgia, provides educational conferences, courses, and programs for lifelong learners. A total living and learning environment, the UGA Hotel includes a 200-room hotel, restaurants, banquet areas, conference rooms, auditoriums, a fitness center, and a computer lab—all under one roof. Hotel guests will receive complimentary parking during their stay. As a unit of UGA’s Office of the Vice President for Public Service and Outreach, the Center brings the University’s teaching, research, and service expertise to the people of Georgia and beyond!

You can find pictures of the brand new Bulldog Bistro by clicking this link.  For those familiar with the property, this is on the first floor, beyond hotel registration and check-in.  To view pictures of the sleeping rooms, please visit the website.  Additionally, feel free to view the welcome letter that guests will receive upon hotel check-in, which includes information on cleaning procedures and amenities.

Rates:
Classic room with one queen or king: $119.00
Classic room with two custom beds: $119.00
Select room with two queen or two doubles: $159.00
A limited number of suites are available at a higher rate.

Hotel room rates are subject to applicable state and local taxes in effect at time of check-in.

Getting to Athens:

By Plane
Athens is accessible via the Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport. The University of Georgia is approximately one and a half hours northeast of the airport.

By Shuttle Service
Groome Transportation provides shuttle service from Atlanta’s Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport directly to the UGA Hotel & Hotel Indigo. Call 706-612-1155 to reserve a space on a shuttle.

By Automobile
