21,888 Hours of Nonprofit Management Training

Just over one month ago, we concluded our last Institute site of 2016. All across the country, from Los Angeles to Villanova, Institute attendees, faculty, and volunteers gathered for engaged learning experiences and networking opportunities. Now, we are preparing for Institute’s Fall Board Meeting. During this time, we want to reflect on the experiences of this past Institute year and celebrate the 181 newly-graduated IOMs. In total, the 2016 Institute participants earned 21,888 hours of nonprofit management.

A great look back on great times and great memories. I was long before these groups (2004) and am glad to see this addition to honor those who went the extra mile to learning more about how to properly lead their communities.
Kudos too, to the chambers who sent them. I would take nothing for the experience it gave me and how often I am grateful to be able to refer back to what I learned.
I have begun my 16th year here at our chamber and it has been terrific. Guess IOM works!
