Important Information
- 2024 Midwest Institute runs Sunday, June 2 – Thursday, June 6.
- On-site office locations:
- Staff office: 1080
- Regent office: 1280
- Silent auction: 1070
- On-site regent meetings:
- Sunday, June 2 at 11:30 a.m. (DoubleTree) —Group photos will be taken.
- Tuesday, June 4 at 11:00 a.m. (Regent office, Grainger Hall 1280)
- Thursday, June 6 at 10:00 a.m. (Regent office, Grainger Hall 1280)
- Attire for the week is casual to business casual (always professional), however volunteers typically dress in business casual or business attire (for those in a leadership position) for graduation.
- Presentations and additional resources can be accessed through the Event Hub. —Available after registration closes on May 22.
- Note that power strips will NOT be provided in the classrooms, and outlets are limited. Attendees should come to class with charged devices and bring portable chargers, if desired.

- Welcome Video (May 3): Upload a video of yourself sharing your tip for Institute attendees to be played at Kickoff. You do not need to introduce yourself, as this will be shared on screen while you are speaking. The video should be approximately 15 seconds and recorded in landscape, if possible.
- Site Registration (May 21): Register by clicking here. Select the fourth option down for ‘volunteers and faculty’ and then follow the appropriate prompts. All volunteer sign-ups, including course audits and elective attendance, will be completed during the registration process.
- Ask Me About…Buttons (May 21): Part of Institute’s on-site networking strategy is the use of buttons to introduce more casual conversation topics outside of the workplace. If interested in participating, please provide your discussion topic by completing this form, and your button will be waiting for you on-site!
- Industry Consultations (May 24): If interested in facilitating industry consultations on-site, please complete the sign-up form here.
- App (Pre-Site): Download the on-site app. Search for “Attendee Mobile” in the app store. Search for “2024 Midwest Institute” when prompted or scan the QR code below.
- Social Media (Pre-Site): Remember to like us on Facebook, follow us on Instagram and LinkedIn, and use the hashtags #iomeducates and #MidwestInstitute.

NEW POLICY REGARDING THE USE OF AI IN INSTITUTE MEETINGS
AI enabled assistants will not be allowed to join Institute board/volunteer meetings and other calls that are a safe space which requires presence and participation. AI enabled assistants are, however, allowed in information sessions, orientations, webinars, and other such calls, which are also recorded. Institute Staff has authority to remove AI enabled assistants when deemed appropriate. Please contact iom@uschamber.com with any questions or concerns.
