Institute for Organization Management is proud to offer several full and partial scholarships to participants each year. Each scholarship is evaluated with the same criteria and is awarded based on an evaluation of an applicant’s financial need, involvement in industry professional organizations, community service, and professional background.
Each application requires applicants to upload a resume and two letters of recommendation. All documents must be submitted electronically. Please do not send documents to the Institute office.
All information, including your recommendation letters, must be submitted prior to midnight on the designated deadline to be considered for a scholarship. Scholarship recipients will be notified prior to the early enrollment deadlines listed for each individual Institute site. To find additional resources regarding financial assistance, please take a look at Institute’s Enrollment Incentives.
Listed below are the scholarships offered through Institute. If you have questions about your eligibility for a particular scholarship program, please contact the Institute office at 202-463-5570.
Institute’s National Scholarship
Any participant that is attending Institute for the very first time may be eligible for a National Scholarship. Each Institute site awards six scholarships worth $500 each toward first-year tuition. The applicant’s organization must be a member of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce.
The Regent Scholarship Program provides financial assistance to both first-year and returning participants. Each year, these are awarded in varying amounts to assist with tuition. Regent Scholarships are made possible by donations from generous volunteers and participants to Institute site-specific silent auctions, and other on-site fundraising opportunities. All attendees are eligible for the Regent scholarship.
Pay It Forward Program
Through the Pay It Forward program (PIF), Institute partners with CCEs and SAEs across the country to provide two $500 partial scholarships to first-year attendees. Click here to learn more and to view a list of the participating organizations for 2016. The PIF program is for State Chamber of Commerce Executive Associations (CCEs) and Societies of Association Executives (SAEs) who partner with Institute to promote Institute to their members. Each of the participating societies received two $500 first-year vouchers to award. For more information contact Shelby Parish.
Please be aware that any of the above Institute scholarships cannot be combined. Scholarship recipients are permitted to use one Institute scholarship toward their individual site tuition. For questions or clarification, contact the Institute office directly at 202-463-5570.
