A native of Georgia, Elyse became Executive Director for the Dalton-Whitfield Joint Development Authority in October 2009. In the past two decades, Elyse has led economic development sales teams in Northwest Georgia and North Carolina to collectively create more than 3,700 jobs and over $1 billion in new investment. The Carolinas Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives named her the 2008 North Carolina Chamber Executive of the Year. Along with North Carolina Governor Beverly Perdue, Elyse was named as one of nine “Exceptional Women” in North Carolina by the North Carolina Chamber in early 2009.
