What You Need to Know Before Your First Class—This interactive session aims to answer questions you have regarding Institute, the nonprofit industry, the local area, and more. It is highly encouraged for first-year students and participants new to the site.
Homeroom—Participants gather in Homeroom to meet their new classmates, catch up with old friends, and make plans for the week. Class Advisors, who organize Homeroom, brief students on course changes and give timely Institute updates.
Institute Kickoff—Participants gather in one room to kickoff the week with some brief announcements and introductions.
Institute Mixer—This welcome reception follows the Institute Kickoff as an informal and fun event for students to establish new friendships and renew old acquaintances.
Class Dinners—All classes plan a social get-together for themselves on the third evening. Be sure to keep this time available to join in on the fun.
Graduation Ceremony—Institute has a proven track record for creating leaders. Celebrate and support your colleagues as they receive their IOM at this special occasion.
The Big Bash—Celebrate at this all-Institute event which includes food, entertainment, and an auction to benefit the Institute scholarship program.
